American Animal Hospital Association Accredited

Hill Country Animal Hospital is proud to be an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited veterinary hospital. Designation as an AAHA accredited hospital is an honor that further symbolizes our practice’s commitment to high-quality veterinary medicine.

To earn AAHA accreditation, Hill Country Animal Hospital undergoes a comprehensive and rigorous evaluation every three years. This evaluation includes more than 900 standards that our hospital must meet or exceed, from anesthesia to customer service, cleanliness to staff education. In completing the accreditation process every three years, you can be assured that our facility not only provides exceptional care, but also remains up-to-date on the latest advancements in animal care.

AAHA accreditation represents the highest seal of approval in the veterinary industry. Accreditation is voluntary, but we at Hill Country Animal Hospital believe in professionalism and excellence as established by AAHA. We proudly display the AAHA logo as a symbol of our dedication to our clients, our community, and to high-quality, modern veterinary medicine.

I really can't offer any suggestions for improvement. Dr. Rooker is great. No matter what we see or call her for, she is always very knowledgeable as well as very kind. Also, she always follows up with a phone call. This is very much appreciated. Your staff is great. When we walk in the door, we are always greeted by name made to feel that our visit is just as important to them as it is to us. Thank you.

Dr. Krick and your whole team are wonderful. In addition, the overall high standards of Hill Country Animal Hospital as a whole are excellent. It is why we have remained clients over the years even after moving away from Helotes.

I called afterwards because I thought I missed some instructions and the front desk was able to answer my question immediately but the Dr. also called me back to clear up any confusion. My cat is 19 years old and not once did they tell me to euthanize her because of her age. The nurse who was handling her was the best, she treated my cat with care and understanding.

Always have friendly, loving, knowledgeable doctors who spend adequate time with our pets. I love how I can see they actually care for our furry family members. The experience at this office is superb. From being immaculately clean to the care and candor provided by the staff, you have made a lifelong customer. I would easily drive 100 miles to obtain the level of customer service provided by this practice. Well done! (sic)
